NetGain Develops Property Locator
Logan County Improves 24x7 Property Info Service
NetGain Information Systems of De Graff, in partnership with the Logan County Auditor, today launched the updated Logan County property information system. Designed to help interested parties locate information of specific parcels, the system is available to anyone with access to the Internet.
Michael Yoder, Logan County Auditor, stated, "The new system shows our commitment to open records and easy public access to information. NetGain did a fantastic job. We're pleased with the quality of the application."
Some of the many benefits of the new system are...
- Updated nightly so information is always current
- Real-time sketching
- Lightweight interface
- Mobile device ready—you can get parcel information on your phone or PDA
- Simple site navigation
- Ready to grow as more information is available, such as more detailed maps and parcel images
"This project took nine months to develop," said Michael Minnich, President and CEO of NetGain Information Systems. "It was tested for three months, including recent public pre-views given to property appraisers, Realtors, attorneys, bankers and insurance agents. It provides a major step forward in convenience and ease-of-use for anyone seeking information about a piece of property in Logan County."
The powerful online service, http://lcaweb.co.logan.oh.us/aweb/, allows users to search by address, owner, parcel or sales criteria.
"We encourage people to try the new service," said Michael Minnich. "We hope it will grow to be an important resource and valuable tool to the people of Logan County."
Mike Yoder concurred, "It's another way to help people and businesses in our great county. And, of course, we are still happy to assist people in person or over the phone during normal office hours.

About the Logan County Auditor's Office
Michael E. Yoder was first elected in 1995 as the Logan County Ohio Auditor. In 1998, Mr. Yoder led the charge to put Logan County's property information on the World Wide Web, becoming the first rural county, and only the second in Ohio, to do so.
As a result, the Logan County Auditor's Office has seen the public largely transition from in person requests to Internet based requests. The Auditor's search tool has been used around the clock, 365 days per year, since early 2000. Accordingly, the County has allocated resources to improving the web-based access as the public has voted, with its Internet browser, to mostly use online services over in-person services.
